Hi everyone!
I'm going to go about this the right way and introduce myself here.
I've been seeing this site for awhile on the web, way before I even became a college student, but was thinking about nursing. After a few weeks of lurking around here more than I used to in the past, I figured it was time to create a membership since I'm starting my classes soon.
I'm a BSN student about to begin my first semester at Houston Baptist University. I'm excited and scared the same time. I happy to finally get it all started but scared that the relaxed life I know now will go bye-bye. In the end I know it will all be for the best...at least I hope so. HBU has a wonky program where you go for 1 year of pre-reqs and 3 years of nursing courses for the BSN. I'm starting a year late since I was a freshman in 2007 and only starting now. Not that I failed or anything; I had a 4.0 (until last Spring-now I have a 3.94). It's just that I took classes in a different order than they prescribed. So finally after the pre-reqs and the newly introduced HESI entrance exam requirement, I'm in!!!
I'm here for all the resources that I hope that fellow nursing students and experienced nurses can lend me. Yahoo! Answers just ain't cutting it with clear enough answers anymore. Nursing school is a big deal and I don't wanna mess it up.
