Hi, bobbo!

Two things:

1--You might want to put something like "post modern nursing research" in your subject line instead of just hi--

2--Try google. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but www.google.com is probably the single best starting point to research anything at all.

3--Welcome to allnurses.com!

Okay, we've established I can't count! Welcome to allnurses!!!

At what date does "post-modern" begin? We all know that nursing has changed the past 50 years in many ways. Nurses are no longer considered servants (or shouldn't be), are paid better, educated better, patients are sicker and stay in hospital shorter periods of time, nurses do more procedures independently, nurse practitioners have assumed some traditional MD roles and, best of all, there are more men in the profession. Lots of good info, but it started with changes in attitudes. Might be interesting to determine what changed the attitudes.
