First Post-need help finding Nurse Preceptor

Greetings from an older LPN nurse that never thought she'd "get back in" after 8 years of having a home small business. Looks like the economy is pushing in abit here, need to have something more secure now. May I be honest here? I'm scared! While I believe that one can do anything one is determined to do, there are realities are there not for being in a high stress job. Well, it is good to connect with other nurses and perhaps I can find my way somehow....I need to take the refresher and find a preceptor but cannot seem to find the latter here in Henderson County. Anybody out there know how to find a Nurse Preceptor for LPNs? I've tried MAHEC, called the hospitals and several LTC facilities. Nothing yet.
