English nurse wanting to work in BC,Canada or WA.

Hi everyone, I'm a RN in the UK and am hoping to emigrate to either Bc, Canada, or the WA area of America. I don't have a clue about exactly what qualifications and/ or further education I will need in order to work in either of these countries. If anyone can help me I'd be ever so grateful, I seem to be coming against a brick wall everywhere I try.
