When you file I-485 for your family member

by dvdhe

When you file I-485 for your family member,do you have to File I-134 form also?

Form:I-134, Affidavit of Support
Instructions:
Purpose of Form: To file a promise with USCIS to support an alien entering the United States and that the alien will not become a public charge. A separate affidavit must be filed by the sponsor for each person.

My better half has a job on H1, do I have to file I-134 when I file I-485 for my better half? RNs who had filed I-485 before please give me some info.Thank you in advance.
