What will happen to caribbean nurses


I know there is a lot out there about retrogression.........but this is my question.......what will happen to caribbean nurses? will we be affected by retrogression

This same question was just asked in another thread.

All nurses, no matter where they are from, are under the retrogression. And this has been in effect since October, 2006. Much has been written here about it and it all applies to you.

Sure, you can find an employer and have them start the petitioning process, but once you get past the I-140 approval, then that is where everything will come to a halt for you in terms of processing. Until visas are current, nothing else will move forward.

Since this same question is already in another post this am, will close this thread. If you do not hold a US passport or green card, then you are affected by the retrogression.
