What Do You Know About Nursing In The U.S.A.?


hi,

i am new in this web site,i have telephone interview next week and i have a query about nursing in united states.i work in UK and im planning to take nclex exam.could anyone help me my above question.

I am moving this to the International Forum.

But you have me confused. Have you taken the CGFNS exam already, if you have not taken the NCLEX yet? You must have passed one or the other for a hospital to even offer you a position? Are you going thru an agency? You normally need to pass one or the other before you even speak to a facility, or is this for speaking to any agency?

You definitely should not even be speaking to a facility until you already have taken and passed the NCLEX exam. No one can do one thing unitl you do that.

yes im going to take my nclex thru agency,i found one agency here in uk which is ADEVIA have you heard this company?they gonna help me to process my nclex xam and to find employer if i passed my exam. ive been reading your comments,i have a question why you dont want to recommend california for initial licensure for a foreign graduate,im just wandering.and what state your preferred?

CA will not issue you a license until you have a SSN# and you will not get until the immigration process is completed.
