If for the US, it is always much better to have hospital experience first, or at least trained in the US if a new grad. The way that we do things in the US is quite different from your country, and you will be responsible to know how we do our procedures and be proficient at them; have excellent assessment skills, and head to toe assessment for each client, each time that you see them in most cases, etc.; strong knowledge of US drugs, their uses and their interactions with other medications.

Usually not recommended as a starting point for a new nurse to the US unless it is with a company that will give a very solid orientation and most are not equipped to do that.
