Want to apply to another state

hello! my name is spring and im from the philippines. I'm reading this thread and I'm very much interested. I passed my CA nclex-rn April 2007 and will expire by 2010 (as the letter says). I am done with IELTS and I also have my Visascreen Certificate with me already.

Right now, I want to transfer my Calif nclex result to New Jersey (in time for the expiration early next year). I don't know where to start, and where to contact who, and how much?

Please help me through. thank you very much.

Moved to a thread on it's own as off topic to the thread it was in

You need to apply for license to the NJ state and meet their requirements for foreign trained nurse. You then need to arrange with Ca for a small fee the transfer of your NCLEX results. (usually $60) The fee for the NJ BON will be on their website and you will need some sort of transcript evaluation like CES from CGFNS and there will be a separate fee for that. All fees can be found on relevant websites and links to state BONs can be found at the bottom of the page

Thank you silverdragon!

I am confused all the more. =( Do I need to write Ca BON stating transfer of Nclex result to New jersey or there is a form where I can fill-in enclosed with $60? Which will I do first, filing my application for NJ or to write to Ca?

Is my Visascreen Certificate proof enough that CGFNS has evaluated my transcripts?

Is this the one that I need to complete and send to NJ?

http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/nursing/endor_app.pdf

or this one for licensure application?

http://www.nj.gov/lps/ca/nursing/fornurse_app.pdf

The more I read the facts, the more I get confused. hehehe! Thank you again for the advise.

You have no license to endorse so can't use the first link use the second link. You will need to meet their requirements and use this form and request results are passed on to NJ http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/end_verif.pdf and this tells you the fees and it is $60 http://www.rn.ca.gov/about_us/fees.shtml
