VisaScreen Status: Mailed (How long do I wait?)

by namurit

It says on my CGFNS account status VisaScreen Mailed April 22.
What courier do they use in mailing the certificate? Some people say they use UPS which only takes 3 days. Should I start worrying? The 3 days are up.

I was not given a tracking number, nor was I emailed that it has been mailed.

I've tried to contact CGFNS, but the "Contact Us" option has specific times available for use.

It is not just three days in most cases, and if you add in the time change, you are already at 4/23 before it was sent. As long as it was, do not worry any further about it as there are no visas available at this time either.

thanks suzanne. i'm fully aware that there is a retrogression and it will take 1,000,000 years to get to the US to work.

i'm just thinking that if it gets lost in the mail, i would have wasted $448.

You always expect thing to take two weeks to arrive there, always give it that amount of time no matter how it is sent.

And if it was sent and possibly gets lost, it can get replaced. The money was not thrown out at all, but it is never in your country from the east coast just two days later, and that is what you need to consider with the time difference.

When I got my VSC it only took approx 3-4 days and I believe it was sent by courier (FED-EX)

You received yours in Europe and from the East Coast of the US.
For the Philippines, it is always longer to receive. The flight over is triple the time to start with.

You always need to allow enough time to receive it, no matter how it is sent. And one does not lose any money if it gets lost, it can be reissued, it is not a problem.
