Visa screen and FL NCLEX without SSN

by tanita

Hello,
I'm Toefl and NCLEX passer for Fl state.I've applied for visa screen and because i don't have SSN they can't send anything to CGFNS to prove my NCLEX passing. I've applied foe lisensure verification online, pressed non-certificate and they charged me 25$. Then i called them they said there is no refund and i have to call on another number.I've tried many times and it's always busy.
Does anyone have the same problem and what did you do?
Thank you.

They can send proof that you have passed the exam, and that is all that they need to do; same thing that CA does. And Florida does it all of the time.

You just need to send the form to them in the mail that comes with the Visa Screen application and they will take care of it for you.

Never do it on-line, you cannot do it that way.

Yes, it seems it's the only way.
Thank you very much.

That is how it is always done, the form needs to be physically sent to them; not sure how you were expecting to get it done on-line, but CGFNS/ICHP only accept that one form.

I am sure that things will work out if you follow the instructions that are given in the handbook for the VSC.

Sorry if I'm reviving this thread. My question is somewhat related to this thread.

I applied for Florida Licensure last November 27, 2007 and have been made eligible by December 26, 2007. I wasn't able to sit for the NCLEX exam until October 14, 2008 since I am currently working. I passed the NCLEX last October 17, 2008. I received a letter stating that I have read all the requirements except for a social security number - which I don't have since I am not a US citizen.

My question is, how long do I still have in order to pass the SSN? They did not state anything in the letter, they only said that they could provide me a unique personal identification number until I give them an SSN.

I can't seem to find this information on their website...help?
Thank you and sorry for this.
