Also the english proficiency exam, is that the IELTS or different one? One more thing, do I need to inform FL BON that I passed the NCLEX? IS there a form to inform them? Thanks again.

Pls. check the NY BON website and see what are their requirements for licensure by examination to be exact. I am applying for it too from CA to MD. Just to give you my list of requirements are CES report from CGFNS to sent to Maryland Board of Nursing/MBON, a verification of licensure in CA to sent to MBON, IELTS score forwarded to MBON as well and the application packet that I have to do. That should be the case mostly in every state but try to check it as well from their website so you will know what is needed. You do not need to inform the FL BON that you passed NCLEX. Check from their website instead if their is a corresponding form to be filled out. there should also be a fee for that. In CA BON its $60 box.

For NY if a foreign trained nurse you have to go through CVS regardless on whether you passed NCLEX in another state or not.

I'm planning to endorse me application to vermont, is a VSC acceptable in lieu of a CES report?

Will i submit a photocopy of my VSC or an original one?
-I only have 1 copy, and I can't seem to find a service in CGFNS on getting another copy of my VSC, unless it is lost. or have a copy sent to another party.

It should be on the Vermont website whether they will accepts VCS and if they do then it has to come direct from CGFNS/ICHP and there usually is a small fee for this

hi! Guys is it ok to use a correction fluid in an error i wrote in the request for validation of registration/license for visa screen application? I am sending it to CA BON. I made an error writing my address as well as in the request for validation in academic records. But just a few letters. thanks.

i also had the same problem,, i chose CA but then i coudnt have the license since i dont have SSN. i still dont know the state where i should transfer it,, i passed the NCLEX dec 2008,, and im afraid it might get destroyed after 3 yrs. Actually i already had employer and is now telling me to take IELTS ASAP to get my VSC done,the h1b shes offering me is on process now waiting for approval from the US immigration, i was advised i had to stick with that h1b visa.. Now, my problem is that h1b is just for those who had specialization on something which i dont have yet,, im just gonna have my first hospital experience this august 2009,,obviously i am not qualified to that visa,, so i really dont know how to deal with that,, i should discuss that to my empoyer i think before anythiing else..

i really dont know what to accompish first.. its all complicated!!!!!

Discuss it with an US immigration attorney the employer won't care if you get deported from the US or have a criminal record, they are looking for a body to fill a position and do not care about you.

hi to all supporters of this thread...I just need more information regarding VSC from CGFNS International...I would like to know if I still need to send them my transcript as well as my Philippine License Verification and other docs even if I have send these files before since I applied for their Certification Program...or...I only need to submit a verification of license from my BON (I recently received my license from DC BON and CGFNS does not have this information under their file). hope you guys out there who had the same experience will be able to share their knowledge regarding this issue so that Ill be able to avoid unneccessary expenditure...thanks in advance...

If you have already provided information for the CP then you do not usually have to send any further information to them, they can use the documents that you have already provided. Exception would be NCLEX results as that will need to be sent direct from state nursing board
