Moved to the International forum

Many many people are affected by retrogression and demand for immigrant visas still remain high compared to the number allocated plus take into fact current US job unemployment do not expect it to be lifted for a long time to come. All you can do is maintain nurse experience and wait plus keep an eye on the visa bulletin that comes out monthly

I seriously doubt it will be lifted, all you can do is wait for your PD to move along

As Silverdragon mentioned it wont be lifted anytime soon. Keep gaining the experience that you will need in the future. You're a prime example of one who's waiting patiently for their turn for a visa. It's already been 3 years and you're still waiting. People who apply now will still be waiting in 2012.

Priority date is the date your I140 was filed and accepted. The OP has a PD of 07/2006 so when looking at EB3 on the US visa Bulletin they just need to watch the date there and wait their turn
