Is US Associate Degree in Nursing enough to get the license in BC?

by magdi

hello-

I am a RN in Chicago. For family reasons I am thinking about applying for PR in Canada. What are the best steps to do it? Through out The PNP or Skilled worker program? Is my Associate degree enough? I read it has to be 3 years program to qualify for BC nursing license. My program was two years, plus one year before the program to take
all the pre- reqs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could come either route but PNP may be quicker although they are processing the SW faster these days. The only way to say whether you will be accepted by the college is to either submit a application or email/telephone them and ask. A lot will depend on what your transcripts state
