I am going back to school in Sept to study a one year class to prepare me for a three year Bsc degree in Adult Nursing.
I have heard that Nurses from the UK have to go through further training when they reach Canada because they are only experienced in one form of Nursing, compared to Canadian/US Nurses who are more generalised.
I have heard that since we switched to solely degree orientated Nursing training here in the UK, that Nurses are now ritated through all departments on placement.
Is anyone aware if this will affect my training needs etc when i emigrate to BC?
Any genuine advice from expats and professionals who are in the know would be very much appreciated.
