Torture by CGFNS

I certainly sense your frustration. I think you do need to realize that the US is a different place after 9-11-01 and have patience. Perhaps one of the more knowledgeable posters will be along with some concrete advice.

Most on this site have had to deal with CGFNS.....................
Your school could have sent in the documents, but were they sent by snail mail or courier service? If snail mail, there is no guarantee that the documents have ever arrived............Have anything and everything snet by courier service..............no other way....that way you have documentation as to who actually received your documents, the date and time, etc..........
CGFNS sends out letters by snail mail, so perhaps it did not reach your licensing board...............

I am just playing devils' advocate for a moment.............

Who are sending e-mails to at CGFNS? To a department or a specific person?
If the dept, it will take several months for you to receive any type of answer.

Let me know what you have actually done, and who you have actually spoken to, and then I can give you some names to contact......

I entirely agree with you. CGFNS is most awfull organization I've ever seen.
I think that there is nothing to do with Sept. 11.

I cant see an option here to start an opinion poll. I am not sure whether premium members can start a poll or not . If yes, someone who has premium membership here, please start an opinion poll about how candidates feel about that monopoly.

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks.....they currently have the contract to provide services..............and until that contract is over.........things are not going to change.

But, let me play devils' advocate for a second........I do know of times where documents were sent but by snail mail, and took two months to get there, the nurse expected to have a response within two days after that............or a nursing school sent incomplete documents, and this happens many times from nursing schools in Canada for some reason..................

All documents need to be sent by courier service, no exceptions............
Follow up to make sure that they have received your documents in a timely manner, be aware that it does take about two weeks for things to be posted to your acct, it doesn't happen overnight...............if you need to send an e-mail to them, make sure that it goes to an actual person, not just a dept.

Sorry to see that someone else has such problems with CGFNS, but it is also nice to know that I was not the only one that got stuck with the incompetance that seems to come out of there.

I had to harrass them constantly and have things resent as they kept loosing stuff, they actually admitted to it as well. Told me that it was showing up that it had arrived by courier etc but nobody could locate it so therefore I would have to get the stuff resent etc, which of course cost me money each time as the organizationa back in Australia also want their pound of flesh to copy the paperwork and put it in the mail.

Anyway I finally got someone to give me their name and email address so I was ringing and emailing every day until they finally sent the documents out. Although I am sure that they still screwed it up as they had been going back and forth from the university in Australia trying to figure out whether I had done psych, needless to say the uni in Oz sent documentation stating that I had and the amount of hours etc and the cgfns still refused to include it. I think that they had lost that piece of documentation so thought that they would send out the documents without it thinking that I would just go away.

I was so thrilled to get that far that I left it alone thinking that I would now be able to go to school and get those subjects that they thought that I needed. Of course now I have spent the last year trying to find a school that will take me. It is never ending........

Anyway keep hassling them as it is unfortunately the only way that they will do anything.

I think odds of winning 10 billion lottery is far better than finding someone who thinks CGFNS is actually worth the HUGE amount they are charging (and we have no option but to pay) for their 'so called' services.
