Tips for passing the new CRNE exam.

Updated Oct 06, 2008 at 10:36 PM by nikkiboy

Guys,
can anyone give me a good advice or tips in passing the new CRNE exams, other than studying hard or reading the mosby reviewer or the CRNE preparatory guide. what is the passing rate for this exam? why is it that it's very different from NCLEX as what i've heard?
thanks.

It is very different from the NCLEX is that they focus more on psych-social skills first of all. It is different same way that the NCLEX is different from the NLE as well. Each country can determine what they want in an exam.

Preparation for the CRNE is also quite different than that of the NCLEX exam as you will see if you have looked at the prep books for the Canadian exam.

There are no tricks for passing that exam, you just need to really know the material inside out.

Best of luck to you.

Hello Suzanne,

thanks for that tip, hope somehow i can pass this hurdle especially if i am on my late thirtees and a family man he he he. most of the filipino nurses here in Ireland are applying to finally settle in canada. 8 years and counting is long especially when you're waiting for your naturalisation. i think we had enough.... tata.
