Timeline for international student in Final year of Nursing School

by anfe

I will be starting my final year of Nursing School this fall.YEA!

I'm working as a nurse extern starting next week(CPT). YEA!

I know I have to apply for OPT sometime in January 2007. Besides the OPT before I graduate in may '07, what else do I have do and when?

Can someone pls explain VisaScreen to me and what I have to do, when?

As an international student do I have to do anything different (from my fellow classmates) before I write the the NCLEX?

I plan to ask the hospital where I am doing my externship this summer about sponsorship for GC. What exactly does the hospital have to do? I want to keep it simple for them, so I need to know exactly what I am going to ask them to do in terms of GC?

tks

Your immigration lawyer can prepare the documents that the hospital would need to complete.
Very simple, but it is up to the facility to decide to do it or not.
