I am in Pennsylvania. I am starting LPN school but I would like to continue to an RN program. Are there bridges like that in PA for international students? Could you mention couple of them around Philadelphia area.

There are bridge programs in many states, however, most require that you hold the LPN license before one can even apply for them. And that is where you are going to have problems. As well as the fact that not all accept foreign students, and the fact that after you have finished the program, there is no guarantee that you will be able to remain in the US.

Check out the community colleges that are in your area, or just do a Google search for these programs; they are not hard to find. But as a foreign student it is not going to be as easy for you.

Remember that after your OPT, you will not be able to work full-time again until you meet the requirements again for that, and even with the LPN training, you are unable to begin to work right away.

better take a bsn program. it may be more expensive but it is going to be worth your money in the long run. as an rn-bsn, you have better chances to climb up the ladder in your career and have more options toward immigration.

For me, as an international student, the tuition is almost double. I can not afford it, and the loans are just for american residents.
