Is there anyone from Serbia?


Hello!
I am from Serbia and I'm international student in Pittsburgh,PA.I just want to see if there is anyone from my country on this forum.It doesn't matter if you are student or you are allready working as an RN here in the USA.

Hi - I am Australian, and also work in Pittsburgh. Several of my coworkers, and my boss, are all Serbian. I just got the chance 2 weeks ago to go to a traditional Serbian wedding, it was great! There is a very large Serbian community in Pittsburgh.

Hey,
I'm from Serbia!
i'm for now in san francisco, but i'm leaving in 15 days...
i'd like to come next sumer again and do exams for RN, but i don't know where to start??? everything is sooooo complicated...
if you or anybody know something please let me know...

Starting point if you are already a RN is the state board of nursing and getting eligibility to sit the exam. If you are already a legal resident then you could apply to CA for initial license but if not then would suggest another state due to retrogression. Much has already been written about CA so suggest a search and good read

Hi, I am from BiH,ande I have a question,if anyone can help,please.I have a NY RN license and would like to endor. to Pannsylv.The board ask me to do CES and CGFNS said that they will use my credentials that they already have. My question is: doas anyone know (former Yugoslavia region) if there is any possibility that ,although,I got NY-CVS approved,that CES won't be, I mean if there are going to be any problems?
Anyone, please, its very important to me to know.

All CES does is breakdown your transcripts and then the BON makes a decision based on what it states. I haven't seen many people have a problem and I know I didn't when I went from NY to AZ (CVS to CES)

Thank you very much, I hope everything is going to be O.K.,but, you probably were not educated in former Yugoslavia and I am just afraid that they would find that I am missing some cursses or something.Oh, one more question,please. If I have to move to NY state in order to work, am I going to have difficulties to get a job?

This could happen and if there are some documents missing then you will need to contact the school in former Yugoslavia and get documentation. This would be the case if you had to do the CES yourself ie the CGFNS stated to you they couldn't use the stuff already received. Hard to say whether you get a job or not in NY. You could try and look for work before you actually more to NY

It is a risk you have to take.
