Is there some country an associate-level American RN with 13 years ICU/ED experience could work for a long term and/or immigrate who speaks only english? Preferably a warm climate?

Have you thought about Australia? They have a shortage of nurses much like anyway else. Sydney is a great place to work. Nice culture, lots to see and do and beautiful weather. If you want I can give you more info, Im registered with the New South Wales board.

I would say the UK, but you sure as hell won't get a warm climate lol :D :D

don't think with a associate they will be able to nurse in the UK as they require 3 years training

What about as a travel nurse to say St. Thomas or St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands? Cruise nursing? I know neither of these options pay much but it is a warm climate and they do speak English.

Not difficult for US nurses, although as everywhere there is a process to follow. Check out the Aus/NZ forum.
