CP exam is only for 4 states now so if it doesn't need doing then don't go that route. Texas will also accept other evaluations and remember even to endorse the state may want you to meet requirements and provide them with CES or equivalent. I had to when endorsing from NY to Az

Hi! I basically went through the same thing --the CGFNS--takes forever to do something. It took me 2 years before they let me take the CGFNS exam. And--yes --I now how long it takes to receive something from Belarus--FOREVER.
I got my CP (CGFNS certificate)about 17 months ago. I also took OK nursing refresher course. I don't now what to do next.

How about to take some other test but TOEFL? Does OK BON will accept anything else?Do you have already CGFNS certificate?because for that they require either of those English tests.
I have a friend she didn't pass Toefl but did CGFNS exam, so she tried other test(I don't remember which one though)..........She has been RN for 2.5 years now and doing just fine.

The state can still expect you to meet foreign nurse requirements even if endorsing, so if they require English exam and English is not your first language then they can still require it

I spoke with Oklahoma Board of nursing yesterday--- my old application has already expired and I still need to get my speaking score. This lady told me that I should apply again to OBN only when I will get the score I need....
They can waive the requirements on my speaking score-- Only ---if I had 1 year of full time hospital experience in a different state.....
Looks like I have to leave my family in OK and move to North Carolina....

Could your score but a reflect of your accent? Perhaps working with a speech therapist might help. Sounds stupid, but it maybe cheaper than moving to North Carolina.

You took a refresher course at the University...Is there someone there who could give honest feedback? Someone in the English as a second language department ?

Just thoughts.
