States that do not require SSN

  1. 0 Hi there!I just found out after failing the NCLEX Exam in California that I need an SSN to re-apply. Unfortunately, I do not reside in the United States so I do not have an SSN.Is there any Board of Nursing that will accept my NCLEX application without the SSN? I've just checked the Vermont Board of Nursing, I think they require that now as well. I'm really desperate to re-take the Exam, I'd really appreciate it, if you could help.
    Many Thanks!!!!!!

I think it is going to have to be a case of checking the various state BON's yourself and see what the requirements are

Most states require a ss# in order to obtain a license. You also need a ss# in order to work in the US.
