Skill Worker Visa - Australia

by livv

Does anyone know how much time one is given to report to australia if approved for a skilled worker visa.

I want to apply and move at the end of next year but i am afraid they might give me a time limit to move or void my visa which is actually a permanet residence.

My understanding is up to 12 months is the usual time frame but is usually indicated when they stamp your passport

Good morning
I hail from Singapore with Singapore Nursing Board with one year experience. I am a diploma holder in nursing planning to migrate by end of this year. I would like to know whether my diploma is enough to apply for migration or a Degree in Nursing is a must to work in Australia (Sydney) I am holding Singapore Nursing Board Registration and Singaporean by nationality. Cheers

Welcome

It all depends on the state you apply to and your transcripts.

Thanks for your reply. As i mentioned- I am planning to migrate to either Sydney or Melbourne. I am not familiar with which state the above two cities belong to and the nursing board under the authrhority. Will be thankful if you can guide further. I am also trying over internet- only agencies are coming out and i am very particular not to go through any agency.

Thanks for your time

Cheers
