Well I dropped of my resume today. As far as first impressions go, I think I made a positive one. She said that she's hiring for a couple positions very soon and I'll probably hear from her. Now all I have to do is wait and pray!

    Welcome Icicle!!

Heather...if it is close by..I would stop in personally...a face to put with the resume. If not...call and ask to speak to the person you saw the other day..remind her who you are..and that you were just checking back to see if any decisions had been made. Good luck!!

No I haven't heard anything yet. The posting closes today. I'm going to take Karen's advice and check back with the supervisor on Friday. Good luck to you too! Do you have experience? Are you a nursing student yet?

The last semester of nursing school I was a tech and can't tell you how valuable that was to me. So even if you don't take it now, I would definately look for a tech/cna job towards the end to get a little more hands on.

Thanks Tweety! I really appreciate your advice. Even if I don't land this position I'll apply again after my 1st year.
