I see a lot of threads on how RN jobs are difficult to find, but how are the RPN/LPN's doing in their provinces??

I would like to relocate but but I wonder if the postings are actually valid or will be filled... I would love rural as I am currently in a rural location but at this point if I don't get away from my current employer I will scream...

So any input...

Is manitoba actually hiring lpns?

I am in ontario and although there are postings I never get any responses... (i am starting to get a complex)

good luck :) I hear Fort Smith is always hiring if you're reallllly looking to relocate

I will look into that

I turned down the offer of a full time line. I'm staying casual. Currently working full time hours, but want the flexibility of being able to choose when I can get time off. For the record, even though I'm casual, I DO work nights and weekends.

I'm in AB. I have a SIL in healthcare in MB and they were hiring all types of nurses like mad a while back. Haven't checked recently.

How is the job market in AB? Does it take a long time to find a job there as a casual?
