RN in OPT needs help

I know someone who really needs help regarding visa sponsorship. He graduated with an ASN degree here in the US and is currently working as an RN through his OPT. However, it is about to expire this June. What would be his options to be able to continue staying in the country? Are there any available H1C visas this year? Please Help.

He is looking at very slim chance on being able to stay in the US and work. H1C is only available in 14 hospitals and 500 for the year. With current economic situation may struggle to find a hospital. Also unless he has a BSN then he also is going to struggle to gain licensure in another country. He may want to consider staying in the US as a student and do his BSN. Retrogression is making it hard for everyone who does their training in the US as a International student
