no one knows how long retrogression is going to last. I would suggest reading the couple of threads that are in the International forum on said subject

We are not sure when the retrogression will end, and expect it to continue for sometime for those from the PIC countries, as well as Mexcio, due to the number of applicants from those countries for the EB-3 green card.
