Can anyone recommend a drug reference guide for a PDA? I use the free epocrates program in the U.S. but names of drugs differ in Australia. Thanks!

    MiMS is the bible.....http://www.mims.com/HTML/mims/MIMS.htm

though the free stuff is when you actually have a job and receive rights to websites such as the clinicians health site where many journals and the actual Australian Medicines Handbook that actually give the recommendations for prescibing. and have it for pda etc here http://www.health.vic.gov.au/clinicians/ though this is victorian all state health have access to these resources, once you have rights to it though....

I found you can get access to the MIMS books at the public library... it's only in the main central library and is a reference book, but it's there. Most (if not all) workplaces at least have an old copy which they are using

A couple of places to start:

The Better Health Channel - individual drugs
Sydney University recommended list - some free, some by subscription
    The Clinicians' Health Channel page
