having read about compact license..what if I obtained my license in IL then planned to transfer in AZ, can i endorse it to that state or do i have to apply and take again the exam for me to have a AZ license since it is under the compact law?!

you dont have to take a nclex-rn exam all you have to do is endorse it. your not allowed to take nclex-rn exam again once you passed it.

You only have to have it endorsed. You have to have a current license of the state you are actually living in.

compact licenses as I read it are aimed at nurses who live in one state but workingin the next, ie live on the border of one but work in a hospital just across the border.

All you need to do is endorse and meet their requirements for foreign trained nurses
