Hey all!!! I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm graduating in may 08, I'm planning to move to Florida. Need help on:

1. Are there anymore test other than NCLEX-RN? or for EVERYONE its just NCLEX-RN...
2. Does each state have its own test? for example: Florida licensure test...(non NCLEX)
3. is NCLEX-RN the ONLY choice???

PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP TO GET STARTED, I'll APRETIATE

you apply to the BON. They will evaluate and give ok to sit NCLEX, can not work as RN without it. NCLEX is for all states but licenses are per state so if move to a new state you have to apply for a new license. You can hold many US licenses as long as you meet renewal requirements

We have not had individual license exams in many years, same way that there is not an NCLEX exam specific for Puerto Rico.

There is only the one exam, and be aware that you will need to provide proof of passing of the English exams since you did your training in Puerto Rico. You only have to deal with licensure, not immigration since Puerto Rico is a US territory.
