Practical Nsg and BSN in the Philippines

PN and RN are totally different as are the applications. However for immigration purposes you have to be RN, PN is not accepted regardless on passing the exam or not. Also Dependant on BON/BRN will also require local license. Also not sure if you are aware of retrogression but looking t a few years waiting

In order for you to be able to get a visa to work in the US, you are going to need to pass either the CGFNS exam, or the NCLEX-RN.

The NCLEX-PN exam will not get you any type of visa for work in the US.

No offense in telling you the facts practical nursing is not describe in immigration law as a way to be a qualified immigrant. If you have only read the articles on NVC website or USCIS you will know your fate.

There are anomalous marketing campaigns in the Philippines that practical nursing is in demand abroad. I am not against PN but you know there are corrupt schools who are not after your welfare but just wanted to have your money.

Kindly read the by-laws of US immigration especially under immigrant and temporary workers. In US there are no shortcuts the rule of the law will always prevail.

They stated that they also now hold the BSN, so that is acceptable for immigration; provided that they pass one of the two required exams.

But you are definitely correct about the LPN not being accepted for immigration here.
