Please help!

Please help! Im a nurse from the Philippines and would like to know which states do not require the CGFNS. Im planning to take the NCLEX in HK but Im at a loss which state I would choose. I've been browsing but I never got a complete list of the states that dont require the CGFNS. Can anyone inform me too of the step by step procedure in applying for the NCLEX? Thanks!

There are many states that no longer require CGFNS exam, only a Credentials Evaluation Done by CGFNS. New York, California, Vermont, etc do not require the exam or the CES. NY requires their own special credentials eval known as CVS, also done by CGFNS. I suggest that you read the stickies at the top of the page, it will explain everything to you.

This exam is not required for graduates of Canadian nursing schools. CGFNS in the past gave an exam that was required by almost every state for initial licnesure but is no longer the case. They do the evaluations called CES, as well as the CVS for NY.

Visa Screen Certificate is done by ICHP, which is a division of CGFNS.
