Moving this to the International Forum, since it is not specific to the Philippines. The same rule applies to all that test anywhere. A passport is not acceptable ID if it is not signed. And the Philippines is only a testing center for a US exam. The same rules that apply all over the world apply to there.

Legally, they cannot accept it if it is signed at the last minute in front of them. That is the same anyplace.

Please keep posts to the topic at hand, which is that passports must be signed. Anything having to do with the exam, needs to go under another thread.

Just your usual signature.

You can put your full name in print (if it's not too long) and then your signature above or beside it.

an acquiantance of mine was not able to sit for the NCLEX in Hong Kong last year for the same reason.

Dont forget to sign your passports before going to the testing center

mam i think my post is not off the topic. knowing that the title of this thread is Philippine NCLEX is justifiable enough for me to post it here. there are no specifics in the thread's title that limit it to the passport issue. the first post may center on such topic (i.e. passport) but it is not limited to such because the specified topic by the one who made the thread is broad enough to even cover my inquiry.

my inquiry happened while i was taking the exam here in the philippines. so i think it did not defeat the topic at hand. it was called for.

Really to save on fraud the passport should be signed as soon as it is recieved.

Here in the UK you have to sign the application form and then the signature is transferred onto the appropriate page and sealed to cut down on fraud
