Share with me which are the best canadian BSN nursing textbooks/authors widely used in canada presently.I want to find out best text books as of today for Med Surg./Obs-gynae/Paeds/Mental health.

- Sep 24, '11 by petethecanuckThis is probably my biggest gripe about the nursing program. All the textbooks we need to buy. Out of them all, I've kept two. My fundamentals of nursing and med/surg texts.
I would imagine each school/program may be different but here are the main ones we used at the U of C.
Fundamentals of Nursing: Kozier. Potter and Perry is good too
Med/Surg: Brunner and Suddarth's
Maternal Child Nursing Care: Perry, Hockenberry et al
You best bet is to go with what is listed by your prof in the course outline.
