A question for those in the industry: Is there a possiblity of a surplus or nurses in the next 3 years in NZ/Australia given its small population? Has there ever been a nursing surplus? Or are jobs virtually guaranteed upon graduating from a Bachelor of Nursing? Thanks in advance for your responses!

While the market is smaller, the population from which nurses come is also smaller. In addition, givent eh global nurisng shortage I would think it unlike that there'll be a surplus here unless conditions become immensely favourable. Oh, what a lovely thought!
