nursing jobs in or around Alvor, Portugal

Hi,
My name is Hollie and im 23 years old. I am an newly qualified adult nurse who is movig to Alvor, Portugal in August this year. I am hoping to carry on with my nursing career so any information on job vacancies in or around the Alvor area, or information on how to go about trying to find a job would be much appreciated.
I do not speak portuguese but i am very willing to learn!

Welcome to the site

Moved to the International forum

From what I can gather you have to register with their nursing council 'Ordem Dos Enfermeiros' You may be required to pass a language exam but best thing to do is contact them

I will look into ordem dos enfermeiros, but im concerned about the language test....i do not speak any portuguese. Do you think it would be wise to take some lessons in the UK before i go?

Does Portugal have any nursing recruitment agencies i can contact?

Not sure if there are any nursing agencies in Portugal. You could try a google search which is how I found Ordem Dos Enfermeiros and see what comes up. I think contact them first and see what their requirements are before learning language
