nurse compact declaration, please help!

i am from the philippines seeking licensure in Texas USA.

while filling in Texas' NCLEX-RN application form, i came upon this section in which i need to write down my "primary state of residence." should i just leave this blank?

You do not have a primary legal residence in the US, so the compact part of the license will not be applicable to you. Your license will be valid in the state of Texas only, and if you wish to work in another state, you will need to go thru the process of Licensure by Endorsement.

You can just write Philippines there and they will understand that this does not apply to you.
