No SSN, ITIN application as alternative


Since I don't have a SSN and I registered for the CA BRN,
having passed the NCLEX- RN exam, how can I get my licnese?

can I apply for my ITIN to get my license?
some people told me, I can apply on Jan 2010
but can I open a bank account then apply for my ITIN?

The questions you seem to be asking--how to apply to various countries, ITIN vs. SSN--have been answered many, many times in this forum. You need to take the initiative to search the forums for the information you are looking for. Otherwise the forums will become clogged with people asking the same questions over and over and over.....

ITIN should only be issued to people that need a Number but can not have a SSN. ITIN isn't usually give just so you can get your license issued. That is abusing it.

As mentioned a good search of the forum will give you much information

Bank account has nothing to do with a ITIN number.

Contact the Cali BON and ask them about ITIN instead of a SSN number.

The Cali BON will make the decision.
