Re: Newly grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand @ gingerbreadman0214: LOL

I was actually thinking of making a separate thread and putting there all the infos lol. Like a FAQ thread for filipino nurses and other nurses who want to go to australia. Then again, it might be redundant already as I have given here so many info so yea.
@ pastasana: Actually, the entries are either February or July every year. If you've done your IELTS, go ahead and pass your application now to the uni. You might still make it to the February 2009 entry. Application to the Universities actually take only a few weeks to a month to finish. After which, you need to apply for the student's visa. The student visa can take 3-6 months to finish.
And honestly, between the bridging program and the student visa, the student visa will still be done faster than that of the whole process for bridging program.

Remember, in the bridging program, you still have to apply for a visit visa or any equivalent for you to go there for your clinical practice. The visit visa will still take months to finish or faster if you're lucky. Add the application and assessment process of the State regulating Authority for the Nursing registration... that's a whole lot of time
Anyway, if you are going for the July entry, I would advise you to apply to the University now. I can give you further info on which Universities have July entry and how to apply.
@ linkRN
There are a lot of pre-registration courses. Which state(s) is (are) your target(s)?
