Registration has many facets here, it is not usually just one application. Depending on the state that you are in, will determine what else that you will need to do. The majority of the states require that you have the CES, which is a credential's eval done by CGFNS before they will look at your application for licensure. And then the NCLEX-RN exam would need to be written and passed before an employer can offer you a job.
Next, what type of visa do you actually have for the US? Not all spousal visas will permit you to work, so that will be my first question to you since we are under a retrogression at this time that you will be affected by if you need to apply for a visa that will permit you to work.
