new arrival in Pennsylvania

Hello
I am a registered nurse from Iran i have 8 years experience in CCU,is there anybody have some idea about nursing job in PA? and if i can work before CGFNS exam?

Welcome to PA ---from a long term resident!
Check out our Pennsylvania Nurses forum.

RE working depends on your VISA status. See links top of forum re what is needed to work as RN in US. While your getting credentials in order, many facilities will hire you as nursing assistant/patient care tech or unit clerk.

What area of PA are you in? Can send you some ideas for facilities

Thanks for reply,really i appreciate that, so happy i got somebody to help me with giving me some idea
i am living near pittsburgh, and my green card is under proccess maybe 2 month later ganna be ready but i can provide working permission.
i applyed for CGFNS exam but today, after 2 months waiting to reviwe my documents they sent me email and notify me they need some other varification of my universities, i realized it ganna be a long proccess so now i want to work by the time get some chance to sit for CGFNS exam

i really appreciate if you can give me some idea what can i do in this situation
