Hold on to your horses. All applications already submitted are valid. CGFNS haven't even made the 2007 versions available on their website for download as of the moment. No need to worry.

These are for those who have yet to submit anything.

Hi Lawrence01,

Btw, If i apply for cvs i should just send the forms, pay and wait... right? They will be the ones to request from the school and Prc?

lawrence, i believe the prc and the nursing school where i attended haven't sent the forms yet to cgfns yet because i mailed it to them just 2 days ago. should i still cancel it and wait for the 2007 forms?

btw, about the ces, what if my sister who is in the us will pay for the services of cg using a credit card..how does that go? the ces application handbook includes a credit card payment form. can i use that? it includes a signature of the cardholder though. is it just better to use a bank draft rather than going with the credit card payment? muchos gracias amigo!

In transitions like this nothing is certain for sure. I guess it will depend w/c one comes 1st. If the 2007 versions has been made available before anything can be submitted then it would be wise to use the 2007 versions as CGFNS stated they prefer. If the forms are submitted before the 2007 versions are made available then those are valid.

The way they stated it it would include all of their programs. Since you haven't submitted anything yet then just wait for the new versions to be sure.

Yes, that's how CVS works. But better wait for new versions just in case there are new rules, policies or requirements to be sure.

Also, do CVS only if you actually want to be a licensed nurse in NY. CVS isn't the fastest of things but if you want to work in NY then you have no choice.

Yes, but the actual owner of that credit card whose name is inscribed in the card should counter sign it. If no way of doing that then bank draft will do and payable to CGFNS.
