Netherlands Jobs (dutch) Europe

Hi,
I am a pre-nursing student about to apply for an accelerated masters program. Does anyone know where or who I can get in contact with for information about working in the Netherlands or in the rest of Europe. I am currently dating a Dutch man who will be moving back home in a few years. After I finish my masters I hope to move there.
Thanks for your help!

The countries of the EU currently have a hiring freeze in place. Jobs are first going to go to their citizens and then next to those that hold EU passports. As a foreign nurse wishing to work there, you are going to have to be applying for a job in an area where they have a shortage. As a new grad without any experience, this is going to be impossible based on your passport. You will also be required to pass the language exam for there as well.

It is also going to depend on the length of your program as well. The length of your program needs to be physically at least three years as well as this is the minimum requirement of the time that they spend in school. If your program is lets say, two years; then it is not going to meet the requirements for any of the EU countries as well.

Accelerated programs do not meet the requirements of most other foreign countries for immigration as well as licensure needs. They are usually only for the country that hosted the training. Much has already been written on this topic, please just take the time to do a search.

Question Re: Netherlands Jobs (dutch) Europe
Thank you for the information. It seems like you know a lot about working abroad. I actually have been taking the time to research my question and have had much difficulty. Can you tell me some websites were you received your information so I can look into it further. Also, the accelerated masters programs are 2 and a half to three years and then I plan to complete my doctorate. Do you know if that is sufficient time?
Thanks for your help

Each country has their own specific requirements for licensure. It is also going to depend on the subject material that is covered in your actual program as well.

I do quite a bit of reading and have been the moderator of this forum for more than 4 years now. Suggest that you check directly with the country that you are interested in, with their equivalent of the BON. Besides getting thru the licensure process, you then have the immigration process and they are more strict.

Have seen many have issues with the accelerated master's program as well as the accelerated bachelor's being accepted in other countries.

Their basic training is a full three years miinimum in Europe and your program is not going to be all of that under the basic training, that is where you are going to run into difficulties. Much has already been written on this in the past on this actual forum, please just do a search and you will get more of what I am speaking of.

Try ribiz.nl
In the Netherlands you have to be registered as a healthcare provider.
