With more straightforward I only mean, the papers or most of them are allready there (in Canada), just to clarify that. And exam is done.

Yes, definitely in that sense it would be more straightforward. BUT, big but... applicants who were not educated in Canada but have been registered in another province may still have to have their documentation submitted from their home country anyway. It's totally up to the College of Nursing whether they'll accept IEN documentation from another province at face value or if they'll want original stuff.

hi vincnet777, i just want to know how you apply an eligibility in Canada? because i want to apply in Vancouver Canada , is it possible to apply too even though i don't have any experience, do you take Canadian board exam how is the process, and may i know what king of application you take to go in Canada as a nurse? please enlighten me to these matters. give me some ideas.. i will highly appreciate your response... thank you ...

hi vincent,

nice know that your eligibility for canada is going well. which province did you apply for your eligibility. how long did it take for you to receive your assessment letter and be able to write the CRNE. thanks for the updates. it will help me a lot.

You need to apply to the BC college of RN and meet IEN (International educated nurses) requirements. Each file is looked at on an individual basis and a determination will be made to whether you get eligibility to sit CRNE or have to do SEC.

Everyone has to sit and pass CRNE to be able to work as a RN in Canada.

I strongly suggest a good read in this and the Canadian forum much has already been written on the process and province
