Need help: International student with AS degree from Florida school, can I work in US

Can someone help me with this question or refer me to the rigth source. I am a Nursing student at a school in Florida that is affiliated with a hospital. I am graduating next yr with just an AS degree . We were told that as an international student we will not be able to be hired as an RN by any hospital after sitting the boards if we dont at least have a Bachelors Degree. But the problem is that the school id not offering BS degrees at the school anymore. They now only offer the program online and international students are not allowed to take online courses. We were told that this is a new law that was passed sometime in August. Does anyone know if this is true or how it goes?

I am a US citizen, so I don't know if the rules are different for us. You must apply to the different states that you wish to be licensed in. As a travel nurse, I pick a city I wish to work in then apply to their state board for a license. Some states the process is a long and time consuming one, others are walk through states and a piece of cake to get a license. Best of luck.
