Hi.

I am a Registered Nurse from Philippines. I already applied to CGFNS-CES.
I just have to confirm some issues regarding the status of my application. Please help.

My situation is:
1. I studied in 3 different nursing schools during my college years. (Madocs, GCIC, *Perpetual [*where i graduated])
2. Each school I attended already sent my my TOR and the Request for Aacademic Records (RAR) directly to CGFNS-CES.

(based on the CORREPONDENCE AREA OF MY CGFNS ACCOUNT)

August 14, 2009 - cgfns ces, sent an email and postal mail notifying me the they received my application.
August 24, 2009 - cgfns sent me an email confirming that they received my TOR and Request for Academic Records (RAR) from MADOCS.
September 1, 2009 - cgfns sent me an email confirming that they received my TOR and RAR from GCIC.
September 2, 2009 - cgnfs sent me an email and postal mail... stating that they REJECTED MY TOR from GCIC because the program admission and completion dates were not provided by the school.
September 2, 2009 - cgfns emailed me that they have received a TOR and RAR from *PERPETUAL. Since I graduated from PERPETUAL, Perpetual sent them a complete copy of my TOR including also my TOR both from Madocs and GCIC.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED:

MY ORDER STATUS - SEPTEMBER 2, 2009

Transcript Validation from Perpetual Help College of Manila - WAITING TO BE RECEIVED
Transcript Validation from GCIC - RECEIVED BUT NOT ACCEPTED
Transcript Validation from Madocs - REQUIREMENT WAIVED
Issued Report - WAITING FOR APPROVAL

*** AFTER FEW HOURS MY STATUS CHANGED FROM THAT TO THIS ----->
STATUS: REPORT ISSUED

==> I called CGFNS to ASK THEM if I still need to send my TRANSCRIPT from GCIC, they just said that A REPORT HAS BEEN ISSUED DATED SEPTEMBER 2, 2009.

** I received a postal mail from cgfns dated SEPTEMBER 2, 2009... But that was the mail stating that I still have to accomplish my TOR from GCIC...

** NOW I am confused... Is that the ISSUED REPORT that they were saying.. or should I wait for another mail coming from them? DO I STILL HAVE TO SEND THEM MY TOR (GCIC)?

Give it a bit more time as it does look as if your final report has been issued and mailed. If you don't hear anything in a few more weeks contact them again. If you haven't already done so send in your application to the BON as they too will get a copy and if you get eligibility then you can go ahead and sort out sitting NCLEX as they will have received a copy of report

When I saw that the status of my applicati0n issued, I immediately sent my applicati0n to the Nevada BON.

Is there any p0ssibility that cgfns still needs my GCIC TOR even if the status of my applicati0n says that a rep0rt has been issued?

I would image that your final TOR that was sent from your final school that contains information on all other TORS is more than enough

Since you already sent your application to Nevada BON, try to call them if the CES report is OK for them. The report was already issued electronically to them so at this time they can access it immediately.

And try to make it clear with the CGFNS-CES department if you still need to accomplished what they were telling you. You might be needing the CES report again in the future.

Do I still have to wait for my copy of the cgfns-ces report before registering to pearson vue?

if you have been told it is OK to register for your exam then Nevada has accepted your CES report therefore you do not need to wait for your copy. Your copy is just that it is the state that is the main ones who need it

You might begin your NCLEX-RN review first before registering at PEARSON VUE.
