NCLEX result to expire

Hi everyone...its been so looong since I posted a thread here. I have a concern here which needs all your options and suggestions.
I have passed the NCLEX last May 2005, have been under an agency who promised us that we could fly to U.S. in 8 months.. Suddenly, the hospital who is our employer, suddenly had major problems which made our waiting..turn inot NONE...zero and nothing at all. My NCLEX which is in California needs us to be there in that state on or before the date of expiration... which is May of 2008. With the retrogression around the cornere...I don't think I can make it now...


I don't want to waste my NCLEX because of the agency's fault.. Is this true??

No, the emplyer tax number cannot be used.

The NCLEX score does not expire, the application to CA BRN does. If the three year passes, you just need to submit another application to them, and pay the fees.

Simple as that. but you can not extend anything.

If your have already passed then it should be a matter of paper work, finger prints and paying the fees. I find it hard to believe that your angency can not or will not find you a new hospital option as we are in such a need here. If the don't do anything soon contact another agency.

I got the same problem with my agency that my application has not gone forward as expected. I have submitted all the required documentation but no further communication or information has been given to me by my agency. What is difficult in this situation as well as all other nurses in this predicament is that we are held hostage by our agency when we are required to sign up a memorandum of agreement to be represented by them. But when the going gets tough we can only sit it out with no other option but to wait. Well, I guess thats life.

i passed my nclex last june 2005 and i renewed it last april 2006 and it is valid for another 2 years all you have to do is renew your license by taking any accredited CEU provider , and one thing more look for another agency which has a tie up with bigger company in the US.
