nclex-expiry date?

nclex-expiry date?

hi to everyone

does nclex have an expiry date like the cgfns?? if so, what is the time frame..

I just looked on my NCLEX certificate and I don't see an expiry date. I think once you have passed, that's it, you never need renew or retake.

Once you take NCLEX it is good for life, provided that you keep a nursing license up to date. If for some reason you let your license lapse for a number of years, the state can require that you take the NCLEX again.

thanks again for ur help. does it apply to foreig nurses who are taking nclex out of us boundaries. like for example if i take it now and come to us in 2 yrs time, my nclex would be still valid.

Your NCLEX is good for life, as long as you keep a license valid.
