You can change the testing center immediately, there is no requirement for that. And depending on the state, there is difference in validity of ATT date.

    You just contact Pearson-Vue.

thanks susan, but the nclex bulletin i have said i must call the center 24hrs to the test date to change appointment and i will have to pay another non-refundable fee of 150 Dollars.following this ,the ATT might expire as you are waiting for 24hrs to test date to cancel it and making another appointment.
what do u think please?i dont have a problem with the non refundable fee,my problem is with the time.

Any time that you make changes there is going to be a fee, that is not what you asked, you asked if you could change it.

I would focus on taking the exam somewhere else, as you will have issues trying to get a visa to come to the uS to test.

    Good Day Ms. Suzzane!

I just want to address an inquiry about the choice of venue for the Exams on NCLEX. My cousin would like to know if she can take her NCLEX exams in Hawaii or Guam since she has a visa to go there, though she will be working in New York. Would it be possible Ms Suzzane?

    Thank you in advance

you can arrange to take the NCLEX anywhere as long as you have ATT and permission to be in that country. Doesn't matter where you are going to work in the end

    O thank you Silverdragon!

At least this have been cleared out and I have told my cousin about it and she decided to take the NCLEX in Hawaii as her reason she wanted to go to the islands with her mom before she has to work in New York, so it means she has to only ask for reciprocity if she passed right?

Thank you again Silverdragon and may you have a wonderful SUnday!

reciprocity I don't think exists anymore. If she has ATT with NY then no matter where she takes NCLEX NY BON will get the results and she can nurse. If not with NY all she has to do is follow requirements for NY BON foreign nurse, the only difference is she doesn't do NCLEX again just endorse

If she applied to NY, then she writes the exam for NY. The location of where the exam is written makes no difference at all. That is who she would be wroiting it for in the first place.

And as stated above, there is no such ting anymore with reciprocity with licenses, it is called endorsement, if they want a license in another state after they actually have a license issued.

    Greetings Suzzane and SilverDragon!

Thank you so much for further clarrifying my inquiry, at least it is all clear to us about this topic in the NCLEX exams.

    Wishing you all the BEST!
